Since the 4th Century teens have been represented in a bad light in mainstream media. Greek Theorist Plato stated that teens 'demonise their parents' and 'roam the streets'. This was evident in the 1990's when The Daily Mail headlined their front page with 'Feral kids ruining society', talking about the British youth attending acid parties, getting drunk and taking drugs such as acid.
